A Conversation with a Stranger

My experience talking with a stranger went smoothly. I left the conversation feeling content.

Initially, I felt awkward. I was unsure how I wanted to approach the person or what I wanted to say. For some reason, I felt nervous. I think trying to talk with a stranger felt different from exchanging pleasantries.

After processing what to say, I just said “Hi”. From there, I just mentioned the weather. I find talking about the weather is simple as it is something a stranger and I are both experiencing at the same time. By choosing the topic of the weather, it was easy to let the conversation flow at its own pace. I found once I started talking, I was more relaxed and at ease.

Although surface level, it was pleasant discussing the weather. I was happy to have a conversation with a stranger.
